Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Rating: PG Characters: Buffy, Xander Length: 4300 words Summary: Buffy dreams of Xander, in these apocalyptic dreams, when the flashes of blurry image, of rivers of blood and piles of rubble and destruction, clear a space in the middle for him. It's amazing, depressing, beautiful, and well-written. Gah! Just go read it! She's planning on a B/X shippy sequel. |

| 4:02 am | I'm actually posting Its 4:40 AM and I just got home from a wedding a little while ago. I was the designated driver. It was fun being exhausted and sober and trying to round up all my shitfaced friends from the after-party to drive them home. I used to love weddings, but now, they just make me feel very single. The bride told me there'd be lots of single guys there. She is such a liar. Who the hell has a wedding on a Friday night anyways? I'm such a dumbass. Instead of drinking alcohol, I drank Coke and coffee most of the night. Guess who is wide awake? Okay...I'm done bitching. I recently read a cute Xander/Tara fic called A Girl Made of Light. I wouldn't call myself a Xander/Tara shipper, but I really liked this fic. The author has a good Xander-voice. |

| 7:25 pm | I'm Afraid GAH! My cat, who is already extremely hyper and a bit insane, likes coffee! I just found him drinking coffee from a cup I left on the counter. It was black coffee so he wasn't even drinking it for the milk or cream. He went out right after I took the cup away so I haven't been able to see if it effected him. He's a weird cat. He also like red wine and chocolate. He can't be satisfied with just getting high off catnip like a regular cat. Noooo, he has to like caffeine and alcohol too. Oh well. Off to see "Jersey Girl". |

| 8:39 pm | Time to Start Building the Arc It has been raining...no, it has been pouring for two days straight in Boston and its not supposed to let up until Sunday. This morning I looked and felt like I had jumped in a pool with all my clothes on by the time I arrived at work. Wet jeans and sneakers are so uncomfortable. I am seriously considering violence if I hear one more person say, "At least its not snowing". There is one thing I do like in all of this wet weather...my hair. I used to have very frizzy, curly hair...Felicity curly. I had it straightened this year and now I love to watch my hair not become a frizzy rat's nest whenever it gets wet. |

| 12:01 am | Yay! I past my exam! I'm now a CNA (Certified Novell Administrator). My boss said if I passed I would get a promotion and a raise! I am so happy its over. I really don't like studying and I get ridiculously anxious when I take a test. I'm an insomniac. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours of sleep at night, but when I'm anxious about something, like an exam, I can't sleep at all. I'm working on 5 hours sleep total for the past 3 days. I'm exhausted. My mind is mush right now. I really should go to bed now, but Stargate (the movie) just came on. I haven't watched it in ages. Yeah...I'll watch it. Even though I'm dead tried, I still wouldn't end up falling asleep until 3 or 4 AM. Stupid insomnia!!!! |

| 12:16 am | Creating Distractions Work sent me to a week long Netware 6 Administration course a couple of weeks ago and the certification exam is scheduled for next week. I have so much studying to do and I'm pretty busy between work, a few side computer repair jobs I scheduled (stupid!), a Memorial for my boss's mom, and a bridal shower. Yup...I have a lot to do this weekend. Have I been studying? Not really. Have I been working on those computer repairs? Nope. Did I wait until the last minute to get a shower gift? Yup. The wedding registry had like 10 things left on it. I managed to get something decent, but one of my friends hasn't bought her gift yet. Ha! She's going to show up with a gift of a pillow case, a spatula, 3 washcloths, and a baster kit. Anyway...I've been lurking around Live Journal for months now, but I decided that now was the right time for me to create one for myself. Its been very helpful in my procrastination efforts. I haven't even done much with it, but its been sucking up a lot of my time the past couple of days. Now that I have my first post out of the way, I'm going to focus my attention away from my shiny new toy. I might actually try to get stuff done. I really want to pass my exam. I NEED to pass my exam. I also need to got to bed. 'Night |
